woodcut after sketch
this is a scan of a woodcut i just did after the sketch at the fine arts museum i posted some weeks ago, a sketch of a painting by Fader.
I still haven't printed it, this is a scan of the wood, and on which i changed the colors black to white and wood to black to see how it'll look after it's printed. this time it will be done in two colours, a black background, then this woodcut in opaque white on top, then the black drawing will be seen. i'll post a pic after i have printed some copies.
what i already did was to stamp it on a wet heavy paper then the image shows good in relief, but it's all white so i havent tried a photo, yet... gonna check the light and see if i can take one.

two more sketches
figure sketches
these sketches are after Juan Carlos Castagnino's wonderful figure drawings. of course my sketches have nothing to do with such a master, but it's fun to sketch the master's works.
